I am so happy I tried this place; I had been going to the nearby Starbucks which always has an endless line, not the case here! And coffee comes with a little mini madeline; how cute!
The pastries are always fresh and delicious. There is a decent selection of teas available, and tea is served HOT. Although the tea comes in paper cups, the pastries are served on a plate with a fork and a knife. Overall, a very pleasant place to slow down for 15 minutes at.
Love this place.
I ordered the hot chocolate with the raspberry white chocolate cake. The staff was attentive and the facility was clean and chic.
Full of light, lot of seats, cozy place.
Nice selection of tasty pastries and cafe drinks. Friendly service.
Good place Very friendly and pleasant serviceThanks Antoinette
Such an Amazing Place !Amazing Attitude !Amazing Seat !Amazing clean floor !
Nice place and good pastries
Very good coffee, yummy pastries and desserts, in a very nice & spatious setting. You can relax and enjoy without rubbing shoulders with others, which is unusual for NY.
Fantastic
Several flies were swarming around the back seating area, all furniture was wobbly, and circulating fans just pushed hot air around inside. Not clean. To-go orders would be fine, but interior needs attention.
I was fortunate enough to have a “mini celebration” lunch of my good news between appointments at Financier...quiche and cava...life is grand!
Wonderful spot to have coffee, a croissant, or French sweets.
Fast & free wifi. $2 medium teas (try the mint). Outlets are hard to come by here. Solid table near front window with two outlets.
Quick service, very nice atmosphere in the cafe. Lots of pastry and coffee choices. A little bit more on the pricy side, but it's fair considering the high-quality taste of the menu items. House coffee is great. Definitely recommend this cafe.
sandwich was not bad - it was awful
Great coffee and desserts. I loved the art.. they framed old bonds, shares and other financial documents from France from the 30’s and 60’s..
I had the worst experience ever!!! The Manager from the location at William St was extremely rude and offensive. She does not deserve to be employed by this restaurant.
I like financier. Good quiche, salads and pastries. This one is could be better if tables were cleaned more frequently especially during lunch hours.
The Financier has all one needs to replenish the weary spirits of high finance. A commodious interior, iced tea, your run-of-the-mill coffee, and a rectangular piece of individually-wrapped sponge given to patrons seemingly at random, although there may be a method to their madness. The lovely young lady I accompanied took delight in the cozy atmosphere. Conveniently located next to the Wall St 1,2,3 stop, but you probably knew this already if you were using Google maps.
Pros:- Wide range of pasteries, cakes and macaroons- Nice and cozy sitting area in the shop- Polite staffCons:- Furniture is old and can be replaced- Restroom was broken
I had an early breakfast here. The croissants were stale.
Good coffee. Cappuccino 12 oz costs 3,75$ + taxes
Good coffe. Nice outdoor space
Attitude issues ! This particular Financier seems to have all employees with major attitude - not customer friendly but more like they are doing you a favor by being behind the counter !
Good
coffee quality varies, plain coffee(too much water added), too much milk in cappuccino or milk is not fresh, coffee is barely warm and gets cold easily...etc, store is messy and need cleaning asap; staffs like to talk to each other, never greet to customers nor serve with smile; would not recommend.
Great location, spacious and friendly
Once upon a time, I really liked this place but alas, all good things must come to an end. I put up with the overpriced, so-so offerings mostly because the coffee guy did such a great job with my order every day. He represents great customer service- he knows my preferences and gets it right every time. Sadly, the other staff members are unfriendly and abrupt. Yesterday, I came in with a pretty severe injury to my foot that I later went to the ER for... My son asked for ice so I could ice my foot before walking on it again- they told him he had to pay a dollar for a cup of ice. Really?! That’s just sad and pathetic. Do they really need the money so much that they will charge me for ice to treat an injury? Wow. I gave them another chance and today, I got attitude about a special order I have been getting for uh, I don’t know, like several years... so after years of loyalty I am going to take my business elsewhere.
Manager is such a beautiful spirit! Love this location!
Its the Best place in wall street!! I love this coffe!!
Amazing pastries. I tried the chocolate mousse. Great texture, great flavour.
This place is the best for cakes and pastries
Coffee is ok, good service. The place needs cleaning up. It is always messy and uninviting
It's a quiet, sunny location for an informal meeting or chat with friends. Lots of seating for a cafe style location. It's also rarely crowded. Plus, you get a delicious mini madeline with every coffee purchase!!
Always lovely for tea.
Not happy. They really need to update their status on the map because they said open! I drove 2 times to this place to fine out it’s close!
Financier has been my favorite bakery in NYC for years. They have the most delicate desserts and are all so delicious. They help cultivate my sweet tooth.
Best coffee in NYC. Friendly staff and good service.
I’ve always liked this place, this entire chain. Good pastries, not too expensive, and from NY.
The Best French pastry I have ever tasted. And I've been around the city.SM
Love the pastries! Spacious with outdoor seating, makes this site something to look forward to in the summer.
Cute little pastries 😋 on the expensive side
I love Financier and am a huge fan of their Almond based madeleine aka "Financier" however this has to be the filthiest Financier location. The floor is disgustingly dirty. It doesn't see a mop in ages. Some of the pastries in the display don't look fresh and are completely displaced. It looks outdated and I am sincerely questioning the healthiness of their products. Hygiene is a huge issue here. Please Financier, pay attention to this location! Give it some love!
Dropped in on Mon I think. The staff was sociable and attentive.
Friendly staff and beautiful desserts. We got the lemon tartlette and chocolate eclair. Yum! I thought the prices were reasonable as well.
Great pastries and food. The coffee is good as well but you come for the food. This particular location has good indoor seating and outside space. Great in the summer.
Just paid $6 for a huge strawberry and a drop of a cake.
Amazing spot with lovely coffee.
